All Day Café (Decaf)
-
Decaf gets a bad rap. And we get it, lots of it is terrible. But specialty coffee producers are changing that perception, where now traceable, ethical and high-quality beans are being used.
Perhaps most importantly, these are fresh crop beans that will contribute to a better decaf experience, where as more traditional decafs use the oldest and poorest beans like some forgotten freezer steak served to someone asking for well-done.
We also make sure not to roast it too dark. So it doesn't have that traditional decafy taste that just feels like charcoal soaked in pond water.
The decaf consist of coffees from some of the members of the Sueños se Semilla project in Honduras. Since 2019, each of these producers has been involved in the effort to find an international market for their coffees, and thus a more sustainable price. We are glad to get to work with them!
