- GIBBS's raw honey, extracted in late August from our bees situated on Ontario wildflower meadows, natural pastures and fields of buckwheat.
- This dark, rich honey is high in antioxidants and has excellent antibacterial properties.
- 350g jar
- Goldenrod, Buckwheat, Aster
- Rich and smooth, with notes of caramel, dried apricot and malt
- Try with a creamy ricotta or goat cheese. Add it to a BBQ glaze for pulled pork or baked into Honeyed Ginger Cookies!
- Gibbs Honey is produced by their our own bees, located on wildflower fields, organic farms and natural pastures in Eastern Ontario. We are connected to production at each stage and never purchase from other beekeepers. This means we can ensure the highest standards for our honey, welfare of our bees and ecology of our yards.
- Raw honey will crystalize over time, but this is a completely natural process. If you prefer a liquid consistency just place your jar in a pot of water low heat until it returns to a liquid state.
- Flavour, colour and consistency will vary from season-to-season reflecting the unique and changing characteristics of our landscape
